We are challenging you to reach out and support your community – truly in any way.
One way we can contribute to Chattanooga’s outdoor and multi-sport communities is through volunteering at races. It is safe to say that every member has benefited from volunteers at a race or organized ride. In 2017, lets show our community that there is more to us Vixens than our ability to maneuver difficult terrain, out race competitors, create a wake in the water (all in our eye-catching apparel).
Dates/Times/Responsibilities are not yet set in stone, but below are a few volunteer opportunities that your 2017 board members HIGHLY encourage you participate in:
1) Night Shift
2) Chattanooga Chase (Memorial Day)
3) Ironman 70.3 Women’s World Championship:We will be volunteering at the 2017 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. There will be TWO opportunities to volunteer as there will be two races needing support. The WOMEN (some of whom you may know) will race on Saturday, September 9th and the men will race on Sunday, September 10th. The time frame for each morning is from 4:45am – 11:45am.
We have been assigned the role of Gear Bag Sorting and Change Tents. Sign up here: https://vmodcui.active.com/responsive/eventGroups/687304/jobGroups/84302/jobs

Additionally, we hope to organize a few SORBA trail maintenance events.
