On Wednesdays we meet at Suck Creek Cycles for a “casual” ride on the Stringers Ridge Trails. This week was extra special as Kat the Bike Lady led our group, and treated us to a mini cornering clinic. Cornering on the mtb can be complex and is actually a combination of several skills that are executed in a way that is dependent on many variables. Kat demonstrated the fundamental movements and trail reading skills, then gave the riders time to practice while assessing and helping each rider to hone their technique. Thank you so much to Suck Creek Cycles for hosting and Kat Volzer for teaching us these awesome new skills!
